The programme is made up of two core elements: an academic module by the Higher School of Economics (HSE) and an internship module in a large Dutch (-managed) partner company in Russia.
The academic module hosted by HSE is called Doing Business in Russia and it includes an induction module, a team project and a project presentation. Participants will attend joint classes with students from Germany participating in the programme Russia in Practice and will be mentored by an HSE tutor to add value to the academic experience.
The internship module is conducted during the whole programme period and is based on a preliminary selection procedure performed by partner companies. It gives participants an opportunity to apply the knowledge obtained in classes and put it into practice to gain competency in an intercultural professional environment. Participants will be provided with a work placement mentor who will offer guidance and supervision in the company.
Usually there are two intakes during a year - in February and in September, however sometimes upon agreement with a company it is possible to start earlier or later than that.
In order to participate in the programme, candidates should meet the following criteria:
* Dutch nationality is not required
During the first call companies such as FrieslandCampina and ING Bank (Eurasia) have offered positions in the following professional fields: finance, banking and marketing.
